The Thoughts and Adventures of Sarah Harris

theology, philosophy, health, cooking, and more

I am Sarah. Here you will find my thoughts on health, food, homemaking, marriage, crafts, theology, philosophy, and the like.

I am newly married to a wonderful man who I respect and trust to the utmost. I am not perfect and fail miserably in the area of being a good, godly wife. However, it is my goal to strive to serve my husband and to become more like Christ and thus, a better wife every passing day.

I believe in consuming a whole foods diet – without pesticides, GMO, or processed foods. I believe God created an environment in which we can thrive and heal our bodies, if we will just use it as it was intended to be used. Research is one of my loves, and so I intend to educate based upon my findings and provide practical ways to live it out.  “Health” and “Nutrition” can be ambiguous terms and with so many different theories out there, it can be hard to make sense of them. My goal is to research things from both sides of the theories, in order to come to a reasonable conclusion on matters.

I am a follower of Christ and a lover of philosophy. There are things on which I will not budge. I believe the Nicene Creed. There are many things in scripture that are hard to understand and difficult to interpret. Thus, there are numerous views and doctrines that people hold to with all their might. Everyone has their own proof text for their opposing theories using various different scriptures. I am no theologian, but I intend to do my best to give sound reasoning for what I believe, and to be respectful of all other opinions and interpretations of scripture.   I expect all others who comment to do the same.

This is me. Enjoy my posts.
